I have never hit a speed like that with my cable modem--and it's been clocked at 3.4mbits/sec. Maybe it's a doctored picture? :-?

Possibly...unless he was downloading it from an Intranet site. IE: an on-network location. At school I did that once--downloaded a 10Mb file in like 2 seconds.

I with the doctored route. I know my DSL modem can hit thoughs speeds (hell I seen it doing 2.1 mes/s) but the problem is the place that is uploading the site is not that fast. So I nomral limited to a 150k/s max from the site (does not mean I dont have 6 or 7 dls going that fast though at the same time....
