Ya know.....
Ya know... personally, i hate the logging hack. I tried a lot of different things to log all my IM's (currently using AIM+ and lovin it lol), but before i upgraded to Win XP, i was using a small piece of software that sat in my system tray and wrote all the files to an html similar to, well, identical to the way AIM+ writes em; raw html. it just appended all incoming IM's to the html and didnt screw up or nuthin.
If ya DONT have Win XP, check it out at least....
Go download it at download.com... its called AIL

Ok, first of all, in the older versions of AIM (it might be in the new ones, i dunno), there was an option implemented into AIM in the preferences that let you turn on a logging option to log all your IM's. But for some stupid reason, AIM decided to get rid of this option. Except they didnt really get RID of it... they just hid it from sight.
Now, some people got mad about this and decided they wanted it back, so they found a way to make it visible again by hacking a few form properties and made it visible again.
But the problem with this hack is that is doesnt quite work all the way. AIM doesnt like that it has that option on and if ya try to configure it anyway, AIM would crash.

the only version that had this "log on - log off" event logging was version 4.4 alpha which was intended to remain internal to AOL. When AOL made the next release after this it had these logging features disabled and hidden. But when you took the 3 files from 4.4 into any later version (the ones in that zip above) you can unhide them. AIM 4.4 even had a history viewer, but these dialogs were removed and were not able to be turned on in later versions by a hack.
